My dad's Toyota Estima was out of battery last year and he went to disconnect the battery himself.
Unfortunately, we found out the player was locked when we finally replaced a new battery.
We were told by some so-called mechanics that they are going to charge us RM300 for helping us to unlocked the car player. YEAH IT'S RM300!!!
We could have use that money to eat great food so I was abit skeptical about getting them to unlock it.
Well, I went online to forums, YouTube and blogs to find the solution to unlock our car player. Of course, there are lots of tutorial on going into the unlocking interface to key in your ERC UNLOCK CODE but these people are charging money to provide them. After searching the internet for a night, I finally found one APP that was introduced by a blogger that would provide any ERC UNLOCK CODE for different players.
This is the APP that I downloaded in APP Store. You'll just have to search ERC UNLOCKER to find it. I am not sure whether Play Store has this or not.

This will be the screen of your player, indicating that your player has been locked due to different circumstances such as disconnecting your battery.
To find the ERC CODE, you will have to enter this page below through multiple steps. You could find the tutorial in YouTube to aid you as this is a short post. The top row is your ERC CODE, and the bottom row is the space for you to key in your ERC UNLOCK CODE.
This is a snapshot of my dad's car player. The ERC Code will have 16-digits. I had covered the last 3 digits.
After you have get access to your 16-digit ERC Code, key them into your ERC Unlocker app then click TO GET CODE. Voila! Your ERC UNLOCK CODE is revealed!!
KEY it into the empty space of the ERC unlock interface, PRESS 完了 and get back your player!
